Abstract Acrylic Painting

SIGN UP FOR APRIL, 2025

ABOUT THE CLASS:

In January - April 2025, you can sign up for a free introductory art class for beginners, specially designed for those interested in trying abstract painting in a small group setting of 4-5 people.

By offering a free art class in Naples, I believe that creating art gives everyone a valuable chance to explore a new intellectual activity, which becomes especially important as we age.

Painting stimulates Brain Activity: Focusing on different colors, shades, and textures activates various parts of the brain, which enhances cognitive functions. This  stimulation can help keep the mind sharp, improving memory and attention as we age.

Read my article about "Why everyone should try creating art?" in my BLOG, https://www.marinalounis.com/why-should-try-creating-art

We’ll begin with a 12x12-inch blank canvas and create an ABSTRACT SUNSET using acrylic paints, a brush, and a palette knife. All materials are provided, and complimentary coffee and tea will be available.

Future classes will focus on various beginner-friendly themes, including floral painting, palm trees, abstract boats, ocean wall art, and simple portraits. Upcoming themes and schedules will be posted here on the classes page of my website.
